CMA CGM Group has launched the PCRF XL maritime service, a weekly route linking Northern Europe with the French West Indies and Central America.
The service connects Port of Dunkirk and Port of Le Havre with Fort-de-France and Pointe-à-Pitre.
The service is operated by CMA CGM using seven vessels of around 6,000 TEU capacity.
According to the carrier, the revised schedule reduces transit times from Northern Europe by around two days and increases service frequency and capacity for regional cargo flows.
Indicative transit times include nine days between Le Havre and Fort-de-France, 10 days between Le Havre and Pointe-à-Pitre, nine days from Pointe-à-Pitre to Dunkirk, and 10 days from Fort-de-France to Dunkirk.

The service forms part of a broader port and logistics development programme in Martinique and Guadeloupe launched in 2023, representing €336 million ($388 million) in combined public and private investment, including €80 million ($92 million) from CMA CGM.
Alongside the new service, CMA CGM has reorganised regional routes with the aim of increasing transhipment activity in the French West Indies.
The company said the Antilles Hub could handle up to 300,000 transshipped containers annually by 2027.
Associated investments include hybrid straddle carriers, additional reefer capacity of up to 800 plugs, and infrastructure upgrades to accommodate larger vessels.
