CMA CGM Group has updated its SIRIUS service linking the Mediterranean with the East Coast of South America.
The French carrier has revised its rotation and refined call patterns as part of broader schedule optimisation across the trade lane, introducing Itajaí into the rotation while removing Itaguaí as it reshapes its operational coverage in Brazil.
The adjustment is aimed at improving network efficiency and aligning capacity with evolving demand patterns.
The final call at Itaguaí will be performed by LISA MARIE (voy. 0NSNJS1MA / 0NSNKN1MA), departing Tanger Med on 23 May 2026 and arriving on 13 June 2026.
The first call at Itajaí will be operated by SANTA INES (voy. 0NSNLS1MA / 0NSNMN1MA), departing Tanger Med on 29 May 2026 and arriving on 16 June 2026.

The revised SIRIUS rotation will be: Tanger Med (northbound) – Algeciras – Tanger Med (southbound) – Salvador – Santos (southbound) – Itapoá – Itajaí – Paranaguá – Santos (northbound) – Tanger Med – Algeciras.
Minor schedule adjustments will also be introduced, with Paranaguá shifting by one day from Wednesday to Thursday and Santos northbound moving from Friday to Saturday. Transit times into Tanger Med remain unchanged.
The changes form part of continued carrier efforts to streamline operations and maintain schedule reliability across transatlantic–South America services.
