CMA CGM Group has issued a revision to its Peak Season Surcharge (PSS), covering shipments from Türkiye to a range of destinations across Latin America and the Caribbean.
The updated surcharge came into effect on 16 March 2026 (loading date) and will apply until further notice, with an initial timeframe set until 3 April 2026 for US territories and Latin American markets, subject to revision.
The PSS applies to dry cargo originating in Türkiye and moving to multiple regions, including the West Coast of South America, West Coast Central America and Mexico, East Coast Central America and the Caribbean, Guyana North Brazil, and the Windward and Leeward Islands, excluding Philipsburg and Gustavia.
CMA CGM has fixed the surcharge at $150 per container. The adjustment reflects the carrier’s ongoing review of freight pricing in line with seasonal demand patterns and prevailing market conditions on trade routes between the Mediterranean and the Americas.
The update follows wider network developments by the carrier, as CMA CGM Group also launched the PCRF XL maritime service, a weekly route linking Northern Europe with the French West Indies and Central America.
