CMB.TECH has completed its merger with Golden Ocean, forming one of the world’s most diversified maritime groups with a combined fleet of around 250 vessels.
The new entity spans the dry bulk, tanker, container, offshore wind, and port sectors, with a fleet value estimated at $11.1 billion.
The merger positions the group as a major player in global shipping, supported by a strong balance sheet and over $400 million in liquidity.
It also retains listings on Euronext Brussels and Nasdaq Oslo, maintaining its presence in capital markets.

The combined fleet includes over 80 hydrogen- and ammonia-ready vessels, underlining a shared commitment to low-carbon technologies and preparing the business for regulatory and market transitions.
This strategic consolidation enhances operational scale while accelerating efforts to decarbonise and modernise the fleet.
With expanded access to technical capabilities and fuel transition expertise, the new group is expected to influence the maritime industry’s energy transition.
