Greencarrier AB has acquired a 60 per cent majority stake in Container Norway Utleie AS, one of Norway’s leading specialists in container sales, rental, and development.
The move strengthens Greencarrier’s ambition to broaden its logistics offering and provide tailored container solutions for specialised applications or storage.
Founded in 1994, Container Norway Utleie has built a strong market position through deep industry experience and long-term customer relationships, supplying a wide range of container solutions across Norway.
Existing owners Øyvind Degnes and Jan Krokedal remain minority shareholders, with Degnes continuing as CEO to ensure operational continuity.

Degnes added: “Partnering with Greencarrier provides a stronger foundation to continue delivering container solutions that meet and exceed customer expectations. I look forward to further developing the business in the years ahead.”
The acquisition sets the stage for future investment, organic growth, and expansion opportunities both locally and internationally.
