Gulftainer unveils Landbridge to boost GCC cargo flow

Gulftainer has introduced its Landbridge service to support more efficient cargo movement across the UAE and wider GCC region.

Centred on Khorfakkan Commercial Terminal (KCT), the service uses a fleet of over 300 trailers and round-the-clock operations to enable faster domestic and cross-border transport.

KCT’s location offers direct access to key trade corridors, reducing transit times and supporting regional supply chain resilience.

The Landbridge service includes real-time tracking and is supported by Gulftainer’s port, logistics, and inland transport infrastructure.

Recently, Wärtsilä renewed and expanded its Lifecycle Agreement with Brazil-based offshore operator Seagems, formerly known as Sapura, covering its fleet of offshore support vessels.

Additionally, Gulftainer expanded its role in Sharjah’s development as a regional multimodal logistics centre.
