Höegh Autoliners has welcomed the latest addition to its fleet with the naming of Höegh Pacific, a 2,450 CEU pure car and truck carrier (PCTC) feeder vessel.
The vessel is designed for trade routes linking Central America and the Caribbean with global automotive markets, expanding capacity across regional vehicle logistics networks.
According to Höegh Autoliners, the newbuild reflects close collaboration across shipbuilding and industrial partners, delivered ahead of schedule and executed across multiple international stakeholders.
Built in partnership with China Qiyao (CQC) and China Merchants Heavy Industry (CMHI), the vessel underscores growing cooperation in global shipbuilding supply chains and the continued expansion of dedicated car carrier capacity.

The company said the vessel is purpose-built to address demand on emerging automotive trade lanes, where feeder connectivity plays an increasing role in global distribution networks.
The naming ceremony marks another addition to Höegh Autoliners’ fleet expansion programme as operators continue to scale capacity in response to evolving vehicle trade flows.
The company described the delivery as evidence of execution efficiency across its industrial partnerships, highlighting the role of coordinated shipbuilding programmes in accelerating fleet renewal timelines.
