Hoopo, a provider of smart container technology and fleet intelligence solutions, has appointed Gil Lehmann as Senior Vice President of Operations.
Lehmann joins Hoopo following a long career in senior leadership roles within ZIM’s global logistics and operations organisation, where he oversaw one of the world’s largest container fleets and managed large-scale operational processes across international container logistics networks.
He was also closely involved in container digitisation and operational optimisation initiatives involving Hoopo, giving him direct exposure to the growing role of real-time visibility technologies in global shipping operations.
At Hoopo, Lehmann will lead the company’s Operations organisation, with a focus on operational performance, scalability and customer delivery.
He will also contribute to product, customer success and commercial initiatives centred on visibility and automation across global shipping operations.
