Kongsberg Maritime has been listed on Euronext Oslo Børs under ticker KMAR, marking the 18th listing on Euronext so far in 2026 and formalising the standalone trading debut of the maritime technology business following its spin-out from Kongsberg Gruppen.

The company was admitted to trading on 23 April 2026, with 879,609,245 shares listed. The opening share price was set at NOK 67 ($7.17), valuing the company at approximately NOK 58.9 billion ($6.3 billion) at launch.

Euronext said the listing reinforces the continued depth of its technology and industrial issuer base across Nordic markets, with KMAR also joining the Euronext Tech Leaders segment, which brings together more than 100 high-growth and established technology companies.

Kongsberg Maritime supplies maritime systems and services across newbuild and retrofit segments, covering merchant shipping, offshore energy, fishing and naval applications.

Its technology is deployed on more than 30,000 vessels globally, supported by 117 offices in 35 countries and a history spanning over two centuries.

Lisa Edvardsen Haugan, CEO of Kongsberg Maritime ASA, said: “This is a historic moment for us. We are setting out to write an entirely new book in our 200-year history, and on behalf of all our employees, I can say that we are ready to begin its first chapter. Through technology and system expertise, Kongsberg Maritime actively contributes to shaping the future of the maritime industry, both globally and within the Norwegian maritime cluster. The industry is undergoing a fundamental transformation, driven by digitalisation, automation, and the need for zero-emission operations.”

The listing comes as the wider maritime equipment and systems sector accelerates investment in digitalisation, automation and emissions reduction technologies, driven by regulatory pressure and fleet renewal cycles.

As part of the Euronext Tech Leaders programme, Kongsberg Maritime will gain enhanced visibility across European capital markets, alongside access to investor networks and technology-focused ecosystem initiatives.

In February, Kongsberg Maritime won a contract worth over 300 million NOK ($31.2 million) to deliver complete ship designs and integrated systems for Petrobras/Transpetro.
