Korean Register (KR) has launched an upgraded version of its technical software platform, SeaTrust Software Hub, now featuring an AI-driven system to improve user accessibility and streamline customer support.
The platform offers a structured interface for KR’s technical software suite, allowing users to manage workflows — from software downloads and technical inquiries to feedback submission — within a single hub.
A key feature of the upgrade is the AI-based feedback system, which analyses inquiries and directs them to the relevant teams, helping KR respond more efficiently.
The system uses engineering documentation, manuals, email correspondence, and historical feedback to generate context-aware responses.

As more data is collected, the AI is expected to improve response speed, accuracy, and quality.
The website has also been consolidated into a unified digital hub, providing access to all KR software, including SeaTrust-HullScan, a structural assessment tool used by shipyards and design companies, and web-based applications like the route-specific reduction factor calculator for container shipping operators.
KIM Daeheon, Executive Vice President of KR, said: “This upgrade significantly improves accessibility and user experience while enabling us to respond more quickly to customer feedback. By strengthening the connection between user input and our technology development and services, SeaTrust Software Hub will evolve beyond a software platform into a digital knowledge center where operational experience and technical expertise are systematically accumulated and shared.”
