A.P. Moller – Maersk (Maersk) has appointed Scott Elliott as Regional President for Asia Pacific, confirming his transition from interim leadership since January 2026 to the permanent role.

Elliott previously served as Regional CFO for Asia Pacific, a position he took after joining Maersk in 2020.

His broader career includes senior finance and general management roles at Toll Global, where he was President and Division CFO for Global Forwarding in Singapore, as well as multiple leadership positions at CEVA Logistics across the US, China, the Netherlands and Australia.

The carrier said Elliott’s experience spans key global trade lanes, combining operational, commercial and financial expertise across logistics and forwarding markets.

Asia Pacific remains central to Maersk’s global network strategy, both as the world’s largest regional economy and a core driver of containerised trade growth.

Scott Elliot, Regional Head of Finance, Asia Pacific Maersk, said: “Asia Pacific is the world’s largest regional economy, key to global trade and central to Maersk’s growth ambitions. It’s an honour to work with our exceptional team, customers, and partners across the region.
