Ocean Network Express (ONE) has revised the quantum of its Emergency Fuel Surcharge (EFS) across a number of trade lanes, building on an earlier update issued on 20 July 2026.
The new rate structure sets EFS charges at $120 per TEU for dry containers and $160 per TEU for reefer containers on all long-haul head-haul routes, while back-haul routes on the same long-haul trades will carry rates of $60 per TEU for dry and $80 per TEU for reefer containers.
Short sea trades will be charged a flat $60 per TEU for dry containers and $80 per TEU for reefer containers.
The updated rates come into effect on 16 September 2026, applying to both non-FMC-regulated trades and FMC-regulated trades, including the US, American Samoa, Puerto Rico, Guam, Saipan and Hawaii, as well as Canada.
