Queclink Wireless Solutions, a global leader in IoT hardware, has launched its most advanced dashcam to date: the CV5000.
The CV5000 combines AI-driven features, flexible camera connectivity, and robust telematics integrations—supporting efforts to boost both safety and regulatory compliance in the transport sector.
The device features both forward- and driver-facing cameras as standard, with the option to connect up to two extra auxiliary cameras for monitoring the sides, rear, or cargo area.
This enables operators to create a comprehensive, multi-camera system built into a single platform, offering a true all-in-one solution for video telematics.
Notably, the CV5000 allows CAN bus integration for deeper insight into real-time vehicle performance and usage.

At the core of the CV5000 is its AI-assisted detection suite, providing real-time event recognition and alerts. Using advanced driver assistance (ADAS), driver monitoring (DMS), and blind spot detection (BSD), the camera identifies dangers including lane departure, forward collision risk and the presence of vulnerable road users.
It also monitors in-cab behaviour, detecting driver distraction, fatigue, seatbelt use and with future plans for automated driver identity using facial ID.
The device’s imaging hardware is designed for difficult lighting conditions, utilising a CMOS active pixel sensor and dedicated image processor for clear recording even in low-light scenarios. Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR) is also supported.
For tracking and data security, the CV5000 features enhanced GNSS location (accurate to within one metre), a robust ceramic antenna, and dual MicroSD card storage supporting up to 1TB for extended, high-resolution video storage.
Alejandro Patino, Vice President of Global Sales at Queclink, said: “The CV5000 is a high-performance, all-in-one dashcam that has been developed to cope with the diverse requirements of the commercial fleet sector. It builds on the success of the CV200 with significant enhancements in terms of camera options, AI functionality, positioning accuracy and system integration.”
