RightShip and NorthStandard have announced a strategic collaboration aimed at strengthening loss prevention through shared inspection data.
Under the arrangement, NorthStandard will be able to request existing RightShip inspection reports through the platform’s secure report-sharing capability, reducing the need for duplicate vessel inspections.
The operating model was developed in close collaboration with Orion Reederei, a dry bulk ship management company, whose participation helped test the process and demonstrate how trusted inspection data can be reused to ease the burden on vessel operators.

Across the dry bulk and general cargo sector, vessel owners and managers are frequently required to undergo inspections requested by multiple stakeholders, many assessing similar aspects of vessel operations, a duplication that increases operational disruption and consumes resources.
