SAAM posted net income of $64 million for the nine months ended 30 September 2025, a 48 per cent increase compared with the same period last year.
EBITDA reached $158 million (+15 per cent) and revenue totalled $463 million (+8 per cent).
The third quarter performance was particularly robust, with profit of $24 million (+97 per cent), revenue of $161 million (+12 per cent) and EBITDA of $58 million (+23 per cent) compared to the same period in 2024.
CEO Macario Valdés said: “We had record earnings this quarter, thanks to increased activity and a better mix of services, combined with greater operational efficiencies in our two business areas: towage and air logistics. We have taken important steps to consolidate our operational capabilities with high service quality, respect for the environment and safety.”
SAAM Towage’s manoeuvres and services, along with the tonnes handled by Aerosan, have remained stable in 2025 despite volatility in foreign trade and industry.

Key developments during the period include a binding agreement to acquire the remaining 30 per cent of Intertug, giving SAAM full ownership of the entity operating in Colombia and Mexico, the launch of Latin America’s first electric tug in Puerto Chacabuco, and the addition of two new tugboats to the fleet in Chile and Peru.
In August, SAAM Towage also reported a monthly record of over 13,500 harbour manoeuvres.
SAAM’s Board of Directors approved an interim dividend of $20 million to be charged to 2025 earnings. Payment will begin on 4 December 2025 to shareholders registered as of 28 November 2025.
The dividend amounts to $0.00205415954704982 per share and will be paid in its Chilean peso equivalent, based on the exchange rate on 28 November 2025.
