Sallaum Lines has taken delivery of the MV Ocean Legacy, the latest Pure Car and Truck Carrier (PCTC) to join its Ocean Class fleet, following the recent entry into service of MV Ocean Explorer.
Built at China Merchants Jinling Shipyard (Jiangsu), the Ocean Legacy measures approximately 199.9 metres in length and 37.7 metres in breadth, with capacity for up to 7,400 vehicles across 13 cargo decks.
The vessel is equipped with an LNG storage capacity of between 36 and 37.8 tonnes, supporting longer voyages while lowering emissions.
The ship features LNG dual-fuel propulsion and energy-efficient design measures aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions and air pollutants, while maintaining fuel flexibility and operational reliability beyond current regulatory requirements.

Sami Sallaum, Chairman of Sallaum Lines, said the delivery supports its broader strategy to modernise its fleet and align operations with the maritime sector’s transition towards lower-carbon transport solutions.
Sallaum stated: “The addition of MV Ocean Legacy represents a practical step in strengthening our fleet and improving its environmental performance. It reflects our continued investment in vessels designed to reduce emissions and enhance operational efficiency.”
In January, Signal Ocean announced the strategic acquisition of AXSMarine, a leader in maritime freight and commodities tracking.
