Yara Clean Ammonia (YCA) has finalised a long-term shipping agreement with Navigator Amon Shipping for two vessels.
The pair of medium gas carriers (MGCs), each with a 51,000-cubic-metre capacity, are equipped with dual-fuel engines and ice-class certification.
According to Yara, these ships will provide dependable, year-round access to Northern Europe while facilitating the use of renewable and low-emission fuels.
Through these long-term time-charter agreements, YCA aims to develop resilient, efficient, and scalable intercontinental supply chains.
The vessels are expected to reduce freight costs per tonne, enhance profit margins, and increase operational flexibility.
Designed to meet rising demand and comply with stricter regulations, the new fleet will future-proof YCA’s shipping operations and strengthen its competitive position.
