ZIM Integrated Shipping Services Ltd. has announced that Eli Glickman, President and Chief Executive Officer, will step down from his role following notification to the company’s Board of Directors.
Glickman will remain in post for a six-month notice period to ensure operational continuity, while the Board prepares to launch a search for his successor in the coming weeks.
He will continue as CEO during the transition phase to support an orderly handover until a replacement is appointed.

In a statement, Eli Glickman, President and Chief Executive Officer, ZIM Integrated Shipping Services Ltd., reflected on his nine-year tenure, describing a period of “astounding turnaround” for the carrier and crediting employees across the organisation for its transformation.
“When I joined ZIM nine years ago, I did so after deep deliberation, but with absolute clarity of purpose. I believed in this company, I believed in its people, and I believed that with the right strategy, discipline, and courage, we could transform ZIM into a stronger, more innovative, and more resilient global player. Together, we did exactly that.”
The Board has confirmed it will begin the process of appointing a successor in the coming weeks.
